This course analyzes the modern theory of Industrial Organization corresponding to Markets and Competition, and with less emphasis on aspects of Theory of the Firm. During the semester will teach solid fundamentals about the functioning of markets and the determination of prices. The most important papers and models will be studied and also recent advances in this field. Applications to fixation issues will be discussed pricing and competition, collusion, mergers, etc.
