Course Description: The course includes both plenary lectures and practical sessions A main aim of the course is to get students involved in the learning process, offering the basic tools in order to reasoning and debating the topics and readings of the subject program Students will be encouraged to compare the different ideologies and authors presented throughout the plenary lectures. Researching skills will be developed through the depth study of one particular ideology. By the end of the course, students must be capable of: a) Finding its roots b) Identifying its main authors and point out in what ideas they agree/differ c) Giving examples of its presence in concrete political phenomena Once the research is finished, students must defense firmly their choose, and prove that they know the main differences with the rest of the ideologies included in the program
