Course Description: This module re-examines the concepts, debates and issues of state and nationalism through case studies from the Global South. Each lecture/seminar will be led by an expert on the regions under examination. At the end of this module students should be able to explain political debates, concepts, themes by drawing on case studies from the Global South. Thus, embellishing their theoretical knowledge with the strong empirical foundation in the complex, multi-faceted and dynamic context of the Global South.
