The aim of this course is to provide you with an introduction to the fundamentals of Chemistry. Emphasis will be placed on introducing key areas of the subject whilst also highlighting the essential role that Chemistry plays in all aspects of our daily lives. In order to place Chemistry in a more global context, the issues surrounding the burning of fossil fuels will also be discussed.
