This course is the first devoted to culinary techniques and applications within the field of the same name. Culinary Techniques and Applications I, II and III provide a basic knowledge of Haute Cuisine.
This course provides training in the abilities and skills necessary for students to be able carefully to select ingredients and prepare them thoroughly, with the highest quality and professionalism required in the culinary arts. Students will be trained in awareness and observance of all the appropriate precautions in hygiene and food handling, optimal methods of cooking and the proper decorations for each type of dish.
