After taking this class, students will be able to answer when someone asks the following questions:
- How do humans interact with computers?
- What problems may arise in the process?
- How can we solve those problems?
- How are user studies designed, how are they conducted, how are they analyzed, and how are they reported?
Note that this class introduces only quantitative approaches to human-computer interaction research. Qualitative approaches are not covered.
