Course Description:
Intermediate students who want to improve English skills through reading interesting novels and news articles.
The course aims to develop fundamental reading strategies and practice analysis through discussion, debate, composition and presentation. The issues present in the readings will be explored and critical thinking skills will be sharpened.
We will read two bestseller novels, The Midnight Library and The Thursday Murder Club and share our thoughts on the plots, characters and events in the books. We will also read several newspaper and magazine articles on social issues that concern us these days and discuss the issues together.
