Course Description:
This course seeks to improve language skills through translation. An intermediate level of Korean is required. Furthermore, an adequate internet connection, lap-top and access to Netflix (or similar) is expected. (The latter can be clarified via the syllabus or by emailing the professor.) The use of Korean will be limited and communication will be in English. LIT is designed to familiarize students with the topic of English translation of Korean films through a selection of movies of the world-renowned Korean director and Yonsei alum Bong Joon-ho.
