This course is a lecture-styled class with the intention of introducing various aspects of Japanese culture to the students, both modern and historical. The students are expected to actively engage in the lectures by asking questions and listening attentively. Additionally, students are required to research one of the subjects presented in class in greater detail, which they will then need to create a presentation for which they will then be graded on.
