This course provides a multidisciplinary approach to the theory and practice of academic research writing. Building on academic writing and rhetorical analysis skills gain in foundational writing courses, this class aims specifically to develop your skills as scholarly researcher. Along the way, you will learn to craft focused research questions, examine existing scholarship, write effective research proposals, and develop your own potential intervention in an academic discipline.
