Course Description: In the Digital Society of today, there are a wide variety of ethical issues related to the creation, access, management, and use of records, data, information, and information communication technology (ICT). This course will explore a variety of ethical issues and challenges related to digital society in the past, current, and future contexts. This course will help students develop and articulate their own ethical views and provide knowledge and strategies so they can access, manage, use records, data, information, and ICT in ethical ways. Students will discuss, collaborate, and apply various ethical theories and frameworks to examine and address ethical challenges posed by real-world examples and case studies.
